Organisasi Rifa’iyah dan Eksistensinya di Kabupaten Wonosobo, 1965-2015: Pengajian, Pesantren, dan Sekolah

Abstract

This article discusses the existence of the organization of Rifa’iyah Wonosobo District from 1965 to 2015. It analyses using four stages in the historical method. The historical study is very important, considering that Rifa’iyah Wonosobo is an Islamic organization that has gone through difficult times from the colonial to the Reformation era. As an organization that originated from a cultural movement, Rifa'yah continued to maintain its existence as a preaching movement through the Tarjumah teaching, as well as adapting it into the changing times. This can be seen from the three main activities that are usually conducted, recitation, pesantren, and schools. All three, have become an effective key, an answer from the direction of the movement's sustainability as an organization.
