Abstract
The malnutrition cases across districts/cities in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) are unevenly distributed, indicating a spatial pattern. This study aims to analyze the spread of malnutrition and its spatial relationships in NTB from 2018 to 2021. The Moran's Index (Moran's I) is used to assess global spatial patterns, while the Local Indicator Spatial Association (LISA) identifies local relationships. The results show that the Global Moran’s Index did not reveal spatial autocorrelation, indicating no global pattern. However, using the LISA method, spatial autocorrelation was found in specific areas. In 2019 and 2020, Central Lombok Regency showed clustering, and in 2021, both Central Lombok and East Lombok Regencies exhibited clusters with a High-High value. These findings highlight the local spatial clustering of malnutrition, especially in Central Lombok and East Lombok, emphasizing the need for targeted interventions.
