HUBUNGAN ANTARA LEADER-MEMBER EXCHANGE DENGAN JOB CRAFTING PADA KARYAWAN BIRO ADMINISTRASI UMUM DAN KEUANGAN UNIVERSITAS DIPONEGORO

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara leader-member exchange dengan job crafting pada karyawan Biro Administrasi Umum dan Keuangan (BAUK) Undip. Leader-member exchange merupakan sebuah persepsi yang muncul terhadap kualitas interaksi antara atasan dengan bawahan maupun sebaliknya yang terjalin di tempat kerja. Job crafting merupakan suatu perubahan yang dilakukan karyawan di tempat kerjanya baik secara fisik maupun kognitif dengan tujuan untuk memberikan pemaknaan baru bagi karyawan. Tiga dimensi pada job crafting ialah task crafting, relational crafting, dan cognitive crafting. Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 92 orang karyawan BAUK dengan sampel sebanyak 60 orang dengan menggunakan teknik proportional sampling. Pengambilan data dilakukan menggunakan Skala Leader-Member Exchange (19 aitem: α = 0,753) dan Skala Job Crafting (31 aitem: α = 0,666). Analisis penelitian menggunakan regresi sederhana menghasilkan rxy = 0,557 dan p = 0,000 (p<0,05) yang berarti terdapat hubungan positif antara leader-member exchange dengan job crafting pada karyawan BAUK Undip. Leader-member exchange memberikan sumbangan efektif sebesar 31,1% terhadap job crafting, sedangkan sisa 68,9% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diungkap dalam penelitian ini.
