HUBUNGAN ANTARA LEADER MEMBER EXCHANGE (LMX) DENGAN INTER FUNCTIONAL COORDINATION (IFC) PADA KARYAWAN DI PT X

Abstract

Karyawan dalam perusahaan minyak dan gas bumi membutuhkan perilaku koordinasi yang tinggi dalam bekerja. Inter Functional Coordination adalah perilaku berkoordinasi yang ditunjukkan melalui information coordination, organization coordination, dan corporate culture. Interaksi positif antara atasan dan bawahan hasil dari penerapan gaya kepemimpinan Leader Member Exchange, memiliki pengaruh terhadap motivasi karyawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara Leader Member Exchange dengan Inter Functional Coordination pada PT X. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 73 karyawan dengan pengumpulan data menggunakan dua buah skala Inter Functional Coordination (31 aitem valid, α = .918) dan Leader Member Exchange (31 aitem valid, α = .924) dengan metode proportional random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan koefisien korelasi (rxy) =.441 dengan nilai p = .000 (p < .001). Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis yang diajukan peneliti terbukti, yaitu terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara variabel Leader Member Exchange dengan Inter Functional Coordination. Semakin positif Leader Member Exchange maka semakin tinggi Inter Functional Coordination. Sumbangan efektif yang diberikan pada penelitian ini sebesar 19.5%
