Abstract

Pemanasan air dalam bak eksperimen merupakan tahap awal penting dalam pengujian Loop Heat Pipe (LHP), karena suhu awal air memengaruhi kestabilan termal sistem. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghitung dan membandingkan waktu pemanasan air secara teoritis dan eksperimen, dengan pendekatan konservasi energi dan pengukuran aktual menggunakan sistem pemanas 18.000 W. Air dipanaskan dari suhu 27°C hingga 65°C dalam bak berdimensi 135×63×52 cm dengan volume air 40 cm. Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan waktu teoritis sebesar 50.10 menit, sedangkan hasil eksperimen menunjukkan waktu aktual 43.63 menit. Perbedaan ini mengindikasikan efisiensi termal sistem pemanas yang lebih tinggi dalam kondisi nyata, dipengaruhi oleh isolasi termal, distribusi panas yang merata, dan minimnya kehilangan energi ke lingkungan. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan eksperimental lebih representatif dalam menggambarkan performa sistem pemanas untuk eksperimen LHP.
