PERBANDINGAN METODE CLARKE ANGLE, CHIPAUX SMIRAK INDEX, DAN RAO & JOSEPH METHOD UNTUK IDENTIFIKASI FLATFOOT PADA MAHASISWA UNIVERSITAS DIPONEGORO

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan efektivitas tiga metode analisis jejak kaki, yaitu Clarke Angle, Chipaux Smirak Index, dan Rao & Joseph Method, dalam mengidentifikasi tipe telapak kaki (flatfoot, normal, high arch) pada 40 mahasiswa Universitas Diponegoro (30 laki-laki, 10 perempuan). Indeks Massa Tubuh (BMI) subjek juga diukur dan dianalisis hubungannya dengan tipe telapak kaki. Hasil menunjukkan prevalensi flatfoot yang tinggi di semua kategori BMI, dengan kecenderungan peningkatan flatfoot seiring peningkatan BMI. Ketiga metode menunjukkan simetri kuat antara kaki kiri dan kanan. Metode Clarke Angle mengidentifikasi flatfoot paling banyak (38 kaki), diikuti Rao & Joseph Method (35 kaki kiri, 34 kaki kanan), dan Chipaux Smirak Index (32 kaki). Analisis Koefisien Variasi (CV) menunjukkan Chipaux Smirak Index (CV 20.84%) adalah metode yang paling konsisten dibandingkan Clarke Angle (CV 31.54%) dan Rao & Joseph Method (CV 58.50%), meskipun semua metode masih menunjukkan variabilitas yang relatif tinggi. Studi ini menyoroti perlunya mempertimbangkan faktor lain selain BMI, seperti aktivitas fisik, alas kaki, dan kekuatan otot intrinsik kaki, dalam penilaian tipe telapak kaki.
