Abstract

Salah satu cara untuk menurunkan tingkat stres yaitu dengan menggunakan metode deep pressure yang memberikan efek menenangkan bagi pengguna. Pada penelitian kali ini digunakan dua jenis alat deep pressure therapy yaitu vibrotactile weighted vest dan inflatable vest. Pada weighted vest penulis mengembangkan sistem kontrol sehingga dapat mengatur durasi pemberian getaran pada weighted vest. Pengujian alat deep pressure ini berguna untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari vibrotactile weighted vest dan inflatable best dengan pola getaran vertikal pada vibrotactile weighted vest dan variasi tekanan 5 kPa untuk inflatable vest. Metode pengambilan data dilakukan menggunakan metode uji objektif menggunakan sensor fisiologis Galvanic Skin Response (GSR) yang berfungsi untuk mengukur nilai konduktansi kulit. Pengolahan data menggunakan metode uji normalitas, dan uji t berpasangan. Setelah didapatkan nilai signifikansi, dapat dilihat penurunan angka yang terjadi dalam masing-masing perlakuan bermakna atau tidak. Jika nilai signifikansi bermakna, maka dapat disimpulkan perlakuan tersebut mampu menurunkan tingkat stres, dan kecemasan dibandingkan perlakuan lain.
