ANALISIS KOMUNIKASI INTERPERSONAL KADER DALAM PROGRAM AKSELERASI GERAKAN ELIMINASI TUBERKULOSIS (AKSI GEULIS) DI KOTA BOGOR
Abstract
The Acceleration of Tuberculosis Elimination Movement (AKSI GEULIS) is an innovative program of the Dinas Kesehatan Kota Bogor to improve early detection, treatment, and assistance of Tuberculosis (TB) patients through the active role of health cadres. The success of this program is highly dependent on the effectiveness of interpersonal communication carried out by cadres in assisting patients, families, and communities. This study aims to analyze the interpersonal communication process of cadres and the supporting factors and inhibiting factors in the interpersonal communication process of cadres in the implementation of the AKSI GEULIS program in Bogor City. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach through in-depth interviews with Dinkes Bogor employees, Puskesmas Gang Kelor employees, AKSI GEULIS cadres and TB patients. The results showed that the interpersonal communication process of cadres in the AKSI GEULIS Program is the most effective approach strategy that encourages the acceleration of TB elimination in Bogor City. It was also found that openness, empathy, support, positive feelings, and equality were supporting factors for the interpersonal communication process. However, several obstacles were found such as social stigma against TB, the lack of openness of TB patients to their condition, and the discrepancy between the home address of TB patients and the actual data.
