Abstract

Large-scale social restriction (PSBB) Policy to minimize spread of covid19 impacted on the economy of trader at Tanah Abang Market Jakarta which inlude the effect on revenue, the effect on economi activity, and the effect on expenditure. The purpose of this research is not only to analyze the impact of PSBB policy to the trader ecomony at Tanah Abang Jakarta but also to analyze government and trader effort at Tanah Abang to overcome the impact of PSBB. Determination of informant 2 using purposive sampling method. Result of this research shows that there is a decrease in income turnover of the trader , but on the other side, the trader still have to bear the burden of expenses for operational cost such as service charge, electricity cost, so that a lot of trader go bankrupt. Government's effort to overcome effect of PSBB policy is provide direct cash assistance, and a massive vaccination for trader actor and public. Trader’s also make efforts to overcome PSBB with cut the expenses and sell their products online. Recommendations given are the government needs provide business capital assistance, proceed vaccination covid19 program, and implementing strict health protocol at Tanah Abang Market, also encourgae the trader to mastering information technology to promote textile and textile product in e-commerce and maintaining the quality of the product being marketed..
