Implementasi Kebijakan Pengelolaan Sungai Kanal Banjir Barat Atau Kaligarang Di Kota Semarang

Abstract

Management Policy Flood Canal River West / Kaligarang in Semarang is
a policy made by the Government that the Government Regulation No. 38 of 2011
on the River Management Regulations as well as on River Management
Cooperation. This policy is a policy that has the objective to cope with the flood
and improve the local economy through events and destinations new tourist
attractions in the form of water attractions (Riverpark) in Semarang.
This study is a qualitative study with the primary objective to describe the
depth of the River Management Policy Implementation West Flood Canal /
Kaligarang in Semarang. Data collection techniques in this study using in-depth
interviews and documentation and analysis of documents. Analysis of the data in
this study include stage data reduction, data presentation, and data verification or
conclusion.
From the results of this study concluded that the Policy Management
Flood Canal River West / Kaligarang in Semarang has not run optimally, with
indications that implementation is not fully maximized because they stage
socialization agencies / related local government offices in the preparation of the
"Cooperation Agreement" West Flood Canal river management / Kaligarang,
Security river by the individual assets or people around who use these assets to
the negative things, the problem of hygiene, lack of coordination between the City
Government and the Provincial Government.
It is necessary for the optimization of the Central Government to the
Provincial Government and the City so that the policy can be run with the
maximum, penyempurnaam phase of socialization among agencies / SKPDs
concerned and especially in the community, the follow-up compilation
"Cooperation Agreement" West Flood Canal river management / Kaligarang in
the city, as well as segeranya followed up by the private sector to be managed as
a tourist spot of water in order to improve the economy of the community,
especially people of Semarang.
