Abstract

The Election System of the Regional Head is directly more able to
accommodate the interests of the people. It can be argued that the elections are a
momentum that is quite appropriate for the variants of voter preferences that are
the dominant factor in conducting their political actions or behavior. In Salatiga
City Election in 2017, Yulianto and Muh Haris were the winners with 50.52%
votes. The couple Yulianto and Muh Haris were the couple after being Salatiga
Mayor in 2011-2016. Support for nominees dominated by winning two regional
head elections, but on the other side of the 2017 elections of the mayor of the
Yuliyanto municipal mayor, Kirnaningsih Point was accused of being a corruption
case of Salatiga South Road Road Corruption.
The theories used in this study are voter behavior by using 3 approaches
that are sociological, psychological and rational approaches. Research method
used in this research is quantitative method. Quantitative approaches have
emphasized their analysis of numerical data processed by statistical methods.
Based on the research conducted by the author, there are several factors
that affect the victory of Yulianto and Muh Haris in the Salatiga City Election in
2017. Firstly, because of the attraction of the candidate figure, Yulianto and Muh
Haris figure who are experienced and prominent since known often visits or
meetings directly with the community. Second, the defendant's status of defendant
status did not influence the voters in determining their choice because the voters
considered it to be a personal affair of candidates and more to see Yulianto's
figure as a mayor. Third, sociological factors, in which case religious factors play
an important role in making voter decisions. Yulianto and Muh Haris are the pairs
of candidates representing Muslim leaders.

Bantar Gebang TPST as a garbage processing facility in Bekasi which is now owned by DKI Jakarta has positive and negative effect for social change in Bantar Gebang area. So this study aims to analyze what are the social impacts negatively and positively felt by residents living in the TPST area. For that writer analyze by using social change theory of Selo Soemardjan and seen from scavenger point of view and society in TPST area in Sumur Batu Village that feel impact from TPST. The result of this research is not only the negative impact of TPST, but also the positive impact is known by the author when doing this research. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The type of descriptive research is the problem solving procedure studied by describing the subject / object of research in accordance with the facts and about an ongoing process in the field. In obtaining the data, researchers conducted an interview on the Bantar Gebang TPST and the residents who became scavengers and residents who live there. The result of the research has been done not only the positive and negative side of Bantar Gebang TPST, but the writer also found that the takeover done by DKI Jakarta to take over Bantar Gebang TPST. Take over is also changing the economy, environment and social in the Village Sumur Batu Bantar Gebang Subdistrict. There are many good changes when managed by DKI Jakarta such as increased compensation money. The writer's suggestion for DKI Jakarta is to pay more attention to the affected communities of Bantar Gebang TPST because there are still many who have not been recorded yet to get the compensation promised by DKI Jakarta, and assist them in the management to get the right.
