Vierh; Herbivori; Pekalongan}, abstract = {Ekosistem mangrove berperan penting dalam menjaga keseimbangan lingkungan pesisir, terutama dalam penyediaan bahan organik dan penyerapan karbon. Aktivitas herbivori pada daun mangrove dapat mengurangi produktivitas ekosistem dan memengaruhi keseimbangannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat herbivori daun pada spesies Avicennia marina (Forskk.) Vierh di Desa Kandang Panjang, Kota Pekalongan, berdasarkan kategori tinggi pohon ( 2 m) dan umur daun (muda, tua). Pengambilan sampel dilakukan pada Oktober 2023 menggunakan metode survei dengan teknik pengambilan acak. Sampel daun dianalisis menggunakan perangkat lunak ImageJ untuk menghitung persentase kerusakan daun. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa tingkat herbivori tertinggi pada A. marina terjadi pada daun tua dengan tinggi pohon 1–2 m sebesar 9,66%, sedangkan tingkat terendah pada daun tua dengan tinggi pohon 2 m) and leaf age (young, old). Sampling was conducted in October 2023 using a survey method with a random sampling technique. Leaf samples were analyzed using ImageJ software to calculate the percentage of leaf damage. The results showed that the highest herbivory rate in A. marina occurred in old leaves of trees with a height of 1–2 m, reaching 9.66%, while the lowest rate was found in old leaves of trees with a height of <1 m at 6.76%. Differences in tree height led to variations in light reception at each level, affecting the photosynthesis process. Most mangrove leaf damage fell into classes II and III, indicating that the mangrove ecosystem at the study site remains in a healthy condition.}, issn = {2407-7690}, pages = {773--780} doi = {10.14710/jmr.v14i4.49182}, url = {https://ejournal3.undip.ac.id/index.php/jmr/article/view/49182} }
