In this final project, the emission control factor was seen from the energy supply, electricity consumption, GDP, and the total population in ASEAN-9. As a result, 9 countries have experienced expansive negative decoupling or an increase in electricity consumption that is higher than the increase in national income. This explanation illustrated that the increase in national income still depended on electricity consumption. On the other hand, the source of electrical energy mostly comes from fossils which has the potential to cause an increase in carbon emissions. Furthermore, seeing the empirical estimation of long-term and short-term use of FEM and ECM methods by Eviews 10. the results of the regression show that the supply of energy has a positive effect on carbon emissions in both long and short term.
