This study focuses on the application of Personal and Environmental Hygiene (PHBS) in the Amnatul Ummah boarding school to discern its effectiveness in mitigating scabies transmission risks among students. Employing an observational analytic approach, we utilized a questionnaire as the data collection instrument, involving 170 samples of both male and female students at Amanatul Ummah Surabaya Islamic Boarding School who met predefined inclusion criteria. The study's outcomes aim to shed light on factors influencing scabies within the boarding school environment, providing valuable insights for prevention strategies. However, the statistical analysis revealed a nonsignificant relationship between PHBS and scabies symptoms (p = 0.702, α = 0.05). The obtained p-value surpasses the significance threshold (p>α), indicating an absence of a substantial association between PHBS practices and scabies occurrence.
