Abstract

In Boyolali Regency, incidence of Dengue Hemorraghic Fever (DHF) has been increasing over past three years. Descriptive epidemiological analysis needs to be conducted to describe the frequency of DHF cases and risk factors. Host and environmental factors are closely related to the transmission of DHF.  This study aims to analyze correlation of DHF incidence rate with host factors (age and gender) and environmental factors (rainfall, temperature, humidity, land use and population density). This cross-sectional study was conducted based on DHF data collected from 2018 to 2022 from Boyolali District Health Office.  This research data were analyzed using Kruskal Wallis test,Mann Whitney U test, and Rank Spearman test. The results showed that there was a statictically significant difference in DHF incidence between different age groups (p = 0.000). DHF incidence rate has positive correlations with rainfall (p=0.012; r=0.502, and population density (p=0,001; r= 0,402) ), also has a negative correlation with temperature (p=0.000; r= - 0.127).
