Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan jumlah sampel 11 nelayan. Metode analisa data yang digunakan adalah metode bioekonomi model Gordon-Schaefer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata Catch per Unit Effort (CPUE) sumberdaya cumi-cumi pada tahun 2008-2012 di PPN Kejawanan adalah 6,54 ton/trip. Produksi optimal (C opt ) pada Maximum Sustainable Yield (MSY) sebesar 2.186,47 ton/tahun dengan effort optimum (E opt ) 5848 trip/tahun. Produksi optimal (C opt ) pada Maximum Economic Yield (MEY) sebesar 1.770,77 ton/tahun dan effort optimum (E opt ) sebesar 309 trip/tahun. Produksi optimal (C opt ) pada Open Access Equilibrium (OAE) sebesar 2.150,68 ton/tahun dan effort optimum (E opt ) sebesar 618 trip/tahun. Tingkat pemanfaatan rata-rata sumberdaya cumi-cumi selama 5 tahun terakhir di PPN Kejawanan sebesar 97,54% dan alur pemasaran cumi yang didaratkan PPN Kejawanan secara langsung.
