ANALISIS LAJU PERTUMBUHAN RELATIF, EFISIENSI PEMANFAATAN PAKAN DAN KELULUSHIDUPAN BENIH IKAN GURAMI (Osphronemus gouramy) MELALUI SUBTITUSI SILASE TEPUNG BULU AYAM DALAM PAKAN BUATAN

Abstract

Perlakuan A (Substitusi 0% silase tepung bulu ayam), perlakuan B (Substitusi 25% silase tepung bulu ayam), perlakuan C (Substitusi 50% silase tepung bulu ayam), perlakuan D (Substitusi 75% silase tepung bulu ayam), perlakuan E (Substitusi 100% silase tepung bulu ayam).

The main feed ingredients such as fish meal used mostly from imports, conditions have resulted in the price of fish feed to be expensive. One way to address the problem of dependence on raw materials of animal protein is expensive is by memanfaatan waste chicken feathers. Waste chicken feathers can be used as silage chicken feather meal as a substitute for fish meal which can reduce the cost of production. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of substitution of fish meal with a chicken feather meal silage on feed relative to the growth and survival rate of carp (O. gouramy) and determine the best composition substitution of fish meal with a chicken feather meal silage on the feed that provides the best relative growth and survival rate gourami (O. gouramy). The fish samples used in this study is the seed of carp (O. gouramy) with an average weight of 4,51±0,06 g/ individual and stocking density 25 fish / m3. This research used experimental method completely randomized design with 5 treatments and 3 repetitions. Treatment A (Substitution 0% silage flour chicken feathers), treatment B (Substitution 25% silage flour chicken feathers), treatment of C (Substitution 50% silage flour chicken feathers), treatment D (Substituted 75% silage flour chicken feathers), treatment E (Substitution 100 % silage chicken feather meal). Variables observed absolute weight, relative growth rate (RGR) and the efficiency of feed utilization (EPP). The results showed that chicken feather meal silage in artificial diet provides highly significant effect (P <0.01) on the growth of absolute weight, RGR, and EPP. Best dose treatment and 25% silage silage chicken feather meal and 75% fish meal in feed capable of producing absolute weight, RGR and EPP respectively by 74,31 g, 1,56% / day and 43,44%.
