PENGARUH PEMBERIAN FERMENTASI KOTORAN BURUNG PUYUH YANG BERBEDA DALAM MEDIA KULTUR TERHADAP KANDUNGAN NUTRISI DAN PRODUKSI BIOMASSA CACING SUTRA (Tubifex sp.)

Abstract


Cacing sutera (Tubifex sp.) merupakan salah satu pakan alami yang cocok digunakan sebagai pakan larva ikan, baik ikan konsumsi maupun ikan hias air tawar, sehingga kegiatan budidaya cacing sutera perlu dikembangkan sebagai solusi untuk mengatasi ketergantungan cacing sutera hasil pengumpulan dari alam dan untuk menghasilkan cacing sutera yang lebih berkualitas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan kadar kotoran burung puyuh pada campuran ampas tahu dan roti afkir yang difermentasi terhadap produksi biomassa dan populasi cacing sutera (Tubifex sp.), serta dosis kadar kotoran burung puyuh terbaik terhadap kandungan nutrisi cacing sutera (Tubifex sp.). Penelitian ini menggunakan design Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan masing-masing 3 kali ulangan. Perlakuan A (Kotoran burng puyuh 0g/L), Perlakuan B (Kotoran burung puyuh 25g/L), Perlakuan C (Kotoran burung puyuh 50g/L) serta Perlakuan D (Kotoran burung puyuh 75g/L). Masing-masing perlakuan dilakukan penambahan ampas tahu 50g/L dan roti afkir 100g/L. Kotoran burung puyuh, roti afkir, dan ampas tahu dimasukkan kedalam 12 nampan plastik dengan ukuran 30x21x7 cm. Media tersebut ditebari cacing sebanyak 10 g/wadah dan dipelihara selama 50 hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian kadar kotoran burung puyuh yang berbeda pada campuran roti afkir dan ampas tahu berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap produksi biomassa dan populasi cacing sutera (Tubifex sp.). Pertumbuhan biomassa, populasi serta kandungan nutrisi tertinggi diperoleh pada perlakuan C yakni sebesar 269,48±1,72%, (55287,50±440,39g) dan kandungan protein sebesar 68,19±0,33%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penambahan kotoran puyuh, roti afkir, dan ampas tahu dapat meningkatkan produksi biomassa, populasi dan kandungan protein cacing sutera.

 

Silk worms (Tubifex sp.) is one of live food which is suitable for feed fish larvae, both fish consumption and freshwater fish, so the cultivation of silk worms need to be developed as a solution to overcome the dependence of silk worms collecting from nature and to produce higher quality silk worms. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of impurity content of quail on a mixture of tofu and bread salvage fermented for biomass production and population silk worms (Tubifex sp.). As well as dosage levels of dirt quail best of the nutrient content of silk worms (Tubifex sp .). This study uses a design completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and each of the 3 replicates. Treatment A (quail manure 0g / L), treatment B (quail manure 25g / L), treatment C (quail manure 50g / L) and treatment D (quail manure 75g / L). Each treatment, the addition of tofu 50g / L and bread rejects 100g / L. Quail manure, rejects bread and tofu added 12 plastic trays with a size of 30x21x7 cm. The media is littered with worms as much as 10 g / container and maintained for 50 days. The results showed that administration of dirt levels at different quail manure, bread rejects and tofu waste highly significant (P <0.01) for the production of biomass and population silk worms (Tubifex sp.). Biomass growth, population and the highest nutrient content obtained at C treatment which amounted to 269.48 ± 1.72%, (55287.50 ± 440.39g) and the protein content of 68.19 ± 0.33%. Based on the results of this study concluded that the addition of dirt quail, rejects bread, and tofu can increase biomass production, population and protein content of silk worms.
