This research aims to find out the adaptation experience and challenges faced by students of Pangudi Luhur Van Lith Senior High School from various ethnic backgrounds in adjusting to the boarding school environment. This research applies a descriptive qualitative method, using Clandinin & Connelly narrative approach, and analysis based on the U-Curve Model. Data collection techniques were conducted through interviews to explore personal narratives that reflect the dynamics of adaptation and shifts in meaning in everyday life. The analysis reveals that the adaptation process is not linear. Although there is a general trend resembling a U-curve structure, each narrative reveals how personal, contextual, and complex each student's experience. Challenges arise in the form of culture shock, social pressure, and internal conflicts influenced by family background and inter-ethnic dynamics. However, peer support and self-reflection are important factors in fostering self-acceptance and personal growth. This study concludes that a diverse boarding environment is not only emotionally and socially challenging, but also opens up space for reinterpreting personal values and life meaning. }, url = {https://ejournal3.undip.ac.id/index.php/interaksi-online/article/view/52398} }
