Analisis Perhitungan Nilai Overall Equipment Effectivness Pada Mesin Gang Rip Saw (Studi Kasus CV Cipta Usaha Mandiri)

Abstract

Tingkat efektivitas mesin menjadi suatu faktor penting pada perusahaan. CV Cipta Usaha Mandiri merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang pembuatan kayu lapis yang produknya di ekspor ke negera lain seperti Taiwan, Hongkong, Tiongkok dan lain-lain. Mesin yang beroperasi secara kontinyu dituntut dapat memenuhi target yang telah ditentukan dengan tingkat efektivitas yang tinggi. Namun hingga kini belum pernah dilakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui besarnya nilai efektivitas pada mesin-mesin yang digunakan oleh CV Cipta Usaha Mandiri. Overall Equipment Effectiveness, atau OEE adalah metode sistematis untuk melakukan pengukuran tingkat efektivitas proses suatu mesin atau peralatan. Perhitungan OEE dapat diukur dari data aktual yang terkait dengan availability, performance efficiency, dan quality of product. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui besarnya nilai OEE pada mesin gang rip saw yang digunakan oleh CV Cipta Usaha Mandiri. Berdasarkan pengolahan didapatkan nilai availability sebesar 93.8%,  performance rating sebesar 90.3%, quality of product sebesar 97.3% sehingga didapatkan nilai OEE sebesar 82.485%. Hal ini menunjukkan nilai OEE masih rendah dan terindikasi banyak ruang perbaikan yang harus dilakukan untuk mencapai tingkat perusahaan kelas dunia.

The level of effectiveness of the machine becomes an important factor in the company. CV Cipta Usaha Mandiri is a company engaged in the manufacture of plywood whose products are exported to other countries such as Taiwan, Hong Kong, China and others. Machine that operates continuously are required to meet the targets that have been determined with a high degree of effectiveness. But no one has ever done a study to determine the value of the effectiveness of the machines used by CV Cipta Usaha Mandiri. Overall Equipment Effectiveness, or OEE is a systematic method to measure the level of effectiveness of a machine or equipment. OEE calculation can be measured from the actual data associated with the availability, performance efficiency, and quality of product. The purpose of this study was to determine the value of OEE gang rip saw machines used by CV Cipta Usaha Mandiri. Based on the obtained processing availability value of 93.8%, a performance rating of 90.3%, quality of product by 97.3% to obtain the value of 82 485% OEE. This shows the value of OEE is still low and a lot of space indicated improvements to be made to reach the level of world-class companies.
