PERANCANGAN SISTEM MANAJEMEN DOKUMEN ELEKTRONIK BERBASIS WEB DENGAN METODE SDLC Studi Kasus Teknik Industri Universitas Diponegoro

Abstract

Teknik Industri merupakan salah satu program studi dari Fakultas Teknik yang ada di lembaga pendidikan perguruan tinggi negeri Universitas Diponegoro, dalam menjalankan kegiatan akademik tentunya tidak dapat terlepas dari pemanfaatan dokumen. Salah satu kegiatan akademik yang dilakukan yaitu berupa proses aktivitas dari mata kuliah Kerja Praktek (KP), Kuliah Kerja Industri (KKI) dan Tugas Akhir (TA) yang masih berjalan secara manual, meliputi proses pendaftaran, proses pengajuan dosen pembimbing, proses pembagian dosen pembimbing, proses asistensi, proses pendaftaran seminar, proses penentuan dosen penguji, proses pendaftaran sidang serta proses pengumpulan laporan. Untuk itu diperlukan sebuah sistem informasi yang dapat menjembatani proses tersebut yang berupa pengelolaan dokumen digital (Electronic Document Management System / EDMS). Metode yang digunakan yaitu berupa System Development Life Cycle / SDLC, dengan tahapan proses utama antara lain perencanaan, analisis, desain dan implementasi. Output yang dihasilkan berupa sistem informasi manajemen dokumen elektronik berbasis web dalam bentuk Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) dengan multiuser dari proses aktivitas mata kuliah Kerja Praktek (KP), Kuliah Kerja Industri (KKI) dan Tugas Akhir (TA) di bagian akademik program studi Teknik Industri Universitas Diponegoro.

Abstract

Industrial Engineering is one of the courses of the Faculty of Engineering in community college education institutions Diponegoro University, in carrying out academic activities certainly can not be separated from the use of the document. One academic activities carried out in the form of process information from the practical work (KP), industrial college work (KKI) and thesis (TA) study are still running it manually, activities are includes the registration process, the process of filing lecturers, preceptor lecturers division process, guidance process or assistance, seminar registration process, the process of determining the examiners lecture, the session registration process as well as the process of collecting reports. It required an information system are can bridge the process known as edigital docement management (Electronic Document Management System / EDMS). The method applied that is in the form of System Development Life Cycle / SDLC, with step including planning, analysis, design and implementation. The output is produced about information system,in the form of an electronic document management system in the form of web-based Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) in a multiuser system with information from the practical work study (KP), Industrial college work (KKI) and thesis (TA) in the academic study program in Industrial Engineering of Diponegoro University.
