ANALISIS PENGENDALIAN KUALITAS PRODUK FINISHED GOOD MENGGUNAKAN METODE FMEA PADA DEPARTEMEN FINISHING 5 PT XYZ

PT XYZ merupakan perusahaan manufaktur garment dan tekstik terbesar di Asia Tenggara. Dikarenakan usia perusahaan yang tua dan voulume produksi yang tinggi tiap menerima pesanan PT XYZ sudah dipercaya oleh banyak perusahaan dan pelanggan dari dalam negeri maupun luar Indonesia. Masalah yang masih sering muncul pada salah satu departemen di PT XYZ ialah masalah kualitas dimana pada produksi di bulan Oktober – Desember 2023 diketahui jumlah cacat sudah melewati ambang batas yang ditetapkan perusahaan. Oleh sebab itu penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui jenis, penyebab dari penyumbang cacat terbesar beserta alternatif solusinya menggunakan metode FMEA. Hasil dari penelitian diketahui bahwa jenis cacat yang paling sering muncul ialah Nggaler Putih dan penyebab dari jenis cacat ini yang paling memengaruhi ialah kurang nya maintanance mesin, material kain yang masih kasar, pekerja yang tidak menjaga kebersihan kain dan kerapihannya, dan kotornya mesin.

Abstract

PT XYZ Tbk is the largest garment and textile manufacturing company in Southeast Asia. Due to the company's long-standing history and high production volume for each order, PT XYZ has gained the trust of many companies and customers both domestically and internationally. However, one department within PT XYZ frequently faces quality issues. During the production period from October to December 2023, the number of defects exceeded the company's set threshold. Therefore, this research was conducted to identify the types and causes of the major defects and to propose alternative solutions using the FMEA method. The research findings revealed that the most frequent defect type was "Nggaler Putih." The main contributing factors to this defect were insufficient machine maintenance, coarse fabric materials, workers not maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the fabric, and dirty machines. .
