OPTIMALISASI JUMLAH MOBIL TANGKI DALAM PENDISTRIBUSIAN BBM DENGAN METODE CLUSTER DAN PROPORSIONAL DI PT PERTAMINA INTEGRATED TERMINAL

Abstrak

PT Integrated Terminal Semarang merupakan perusahaan BUMN yang mengatur kegiatan pendistribusian
BBM di daerah Jawah Tengah dan Yogyakarta. Segala kegiatan terkait supply dan distribusi diseluruh
daerah Jawa Bagian Tengah diatur oleh departemen supply and distribution. Departemen supply and
distribution mengatur alur transportasi dan juga sistem operasi mobil tangki yang menjadi dasar proses
distribusi. Proses Distribusi di daerah Jawa Bagian Tengah memiliki beberapa alat transportasi salah
satunya adalah mobil tangki. Terdapat 154 unit mobil tangki dengan kapasitas tangki sebesar 8KL, 16 KL,
24KL, dan 32KL yang beroperasi untuk 12 daerah SPBU. Aspek transportasi untuk menyalurkan BBM
sangat penting agar proses distribusi berjalan lancar dan tidak mengalami kendala. Permasalahan yang
terjadi yaitu kebutuhan konsumen yang terus meningkat setiap bulannya, tetapi jumlah mobil tangki tetap
dan tidak mengalami perubahan akibat adanya sistem sewa. Oleh karena itu harus dilakukan perhitungan
jumlah mobil tangki yang optimal agar memperlancar proses distribusi dan menekan biaya sewa. Saat ini
belum banyak metode perhitungan optimal jumlah transportasi yang bisa diterapkan, Namun, metode yang
paling sesuai adalah metode cluster dan metode proporsional. Metode cluster dan metode proporsional
adalah metode perhitungan mobil tangki yang berdasarkan wilayah pendistribusian dan waktu siklus
pengantaran BBM. Data yang digunakan adalah data Througput BBM Bulan Desember 2022, waktu siklus
mobil tangki, Safety Factor, SKpi jarak tempuh mobil tangki, dan jarak pengantaran BBM. Didapatkan
hasil jumlah mobil tangki yang optimal sebanyak 113 unit dengan kapasitas angkut sebesar 3056KL/hari
dan ritase 2,120 rit/hari yang terdiri atas mobil tangki 8KL 0 unit, mobil tangki 16 KL 25 unit, dan mobil
tangki 24KL 20 unit, dan mobil tangki 32 KL 68 unit.

Abstract

[OPTIMIZATION OF THE NUMBER OF FUEL TANK CARS IN THE DISTRIBUTION OF FUEL
USING THE CLUSTER AND PROPORTIONAL METHOD AT THE INTEGRATED TERMINAL OF
PT PERTAMINA] PT Integrated Terminal Semarang is a state-owned company that regulates fuel
distribution activities in Central Java and Yogyakarta. All activities related to supply and distribution
throughout the Central Java region are managed by the supply and distribution department. The supply and
distribution department manages the flow of transportation and also the fuel tanker car operating system
that forms the basis of the distribution process. The distribution process in Central Java has several means
of transportation, one of which is a fuel tanker cars. There are 154 units of fuel tank cars with tank capacities
of 8KL, 16 KL, 24KL and 32KL operating for 12 gas station areas. The transportation aspect for fuel
distribution is very important so that the distribution process runs smoothly and there are no problems. The
problem that occurs is that consumer needs continue to increase every month, but the number of fuel tanker
cars remains the same and does not change due to the rental system. Therefore, it is necessary to calculate
the optimal number of fuel tanker cars in order to expedite the distribution process and reduce rental costs.
Currently there are not many methods for calculating the optimal amount of transportation that can be
applied, but the most suitable methods are the cluster method and the proportional method. The cluster
method and proportional method are methods for calculating fuel tanker cars based on the distribution area
and fuel delivery cycle time. The data used is BBM Througput data for December 2022, fuel tank car cycle
time, Safety Factor, SKpi fuel tank car mileage, and fuel mileage. The optimal number of fuel tanker cars
was 113 units with a transport capacity of 3056KL/day and 2,120 trips/day consisting of 0 units of 8KL fuel
tanker cars, 25 units of 16 KL fuel tanker cars, and 20 units of 24KL fuel tanker cars and 68 Units of 32KL
fuel tanker cars.
