PT Perkebunan Nusantara IX merupakan perusahaan yang memproduksi kopi bubuk di Indonesia.
Tidak adanya penggunaan dari metode peramalan dan pengendalian bahan baku dengan metode yang
tepat membuat terjadinya overstock dan stockout pada bahan baku packaging kopi bubuk banaran 100
gram sebagai komponen utama yang berfungsi sebagai wadah kopi bubuk banaran. Berdasarkan
permasalah tersebut maka dilakukan perhitungan menggunakan beberapa metode peramalan yaitu
metode Double Moving Average, Double Exponential Smoothing, dan Winter untuk mengetahui
seberapa perkiraan pemakaian bahan baku packaging pada periode selanjutnya. Setelah itu, dilakukan
perhitungan safety stock dan Min-Max untuk mengetahui berapa stok minimum yang harus ada di
gudang serta berapa stok maksimunya. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data didapatkan bahwa metode
peramalan terbaik menggunakan metode Winter dengan minimum bahan baku packaging Coated
Duplex Board dan Carton Box untuk periode Januari 2023-Juni 2024 adalah sebesar 5327 pcs untuk
service level 95% dan 73 pcs. Sedangkan maximum inventory bahan baku Coated Duplex Board adalah
sebesar 8755 kg untuk service level 95% dan Carton Box 120 pcs.

Abstract

[Inventory Policy of Coated Duplex Board and Carton Box as a Packaging Component of
BANARAN COFFEE with The Min-Max Stock Metod] PT Perkebunan Nusantara IX is a
company that produces ground coffee in Indonesia. The absence of forecasting methods and control of
raw materials with the right method makes overstocks and stockouts occur in raw materials for 100gram
banaran
ground
coffee
packaging,
which
is
the
main
component
that
functions
as
a
container
for

banaran
ground
coffee.
Based
on
these
problems,
calculations
are
carried
out
using
several
forecasting

methods,
namely
the
Double
Moving
Average,
Double
Exponential
Smoothing,
and
Winter’s
methods,

to
find
out
how
much
the
estimated
usage
will
be
in
the
next
period.
After
that,
a
safety
stock
calculation

is
carried
out,
and
the
application
of
the
Min-Max
method
is
carried
out
to
find
out
how
much
minimum

stock
must
be
in
the
warehouse
to
meet
production
quantity
capacity
and
what
the
maximum
stock
is.

Based
on
the
results
of
data
processing,
it
was
found
that
the
best
forecasting
method
was
using
the

winter
method
with
a
minimum
inventory
of
raw
materials
for
Coated
Duplex
Board
and
Carton
Box

packaging
for
the
period
January
2023–June
2024
amounting
to
5327
pcs
for
a
service
level
of
95%

and
73
pcs.
While
the
maximum
inventory
for
Coated
Duplex
Board
raw
materials
is
8755
kg
for
a

service
level
of
95%
and
120
pcs Carton Boxes.
