Statistical Process Control (SPC) adalah salah satu metode yang digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi penyebab terjadinya cacat yang ada dalam proses produksi suatu produk dan membantu memperbaiki tingkat kualitas dari produk yang diproduksi agar dapat sesuai dengan standar yang telah ditetapkan oleh perusahaan. PT Bridgestone Sumatra Rubber Estate merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang perkebunan dan pengolahan karet yang mengahsilkan produk crumb rubber. Jenis cacat yang ada pada produk crumb rubber adalah terdapat kontaminan jenis wood, plastic dan thread. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan analisis pengendalian kualitas pada proses produksi crumb rubber. Dengan menggunakan diagram pareto, didapatkan persentase tingkat kecacatan produk terbesar adalah pada kontaminan wood yaitu sebesar 54,15%, lalu dilakukan analisis menggunakan peta kendali p untuk mengetahui apakan data terkendali dan dilakukan analisis menggunakan fishbone diagram untuk mengetahui penyebab cacat yang terdiri dari faktor man, machine, material, measurement, method dan environment.

Abstract

[Statistical Process Control of SIR 20 TA 77 Product in DX Factory in The Rubber Industry] Statistical Process Control (SPC) is one of the methods used to identify the causes of defects that exist in the production process of a product and help improve the quality level of the products produced in order to comply with the standards set by the company. PT Bridgestone Sumatra Rubber Estate is one of the companies engaged in plantations and rubber processing that produces crumb rubber products. The types of defects that exist in crumb rubber products are wood, plastic and thread contaminants. Therefore, it is necessary to analyse quality control in the crumb rubber production process. By using a pareto diagram, it is obtained that the largest percentage of product defects is in wood contaminants, which is 54.15%, then an analysis is carried out using a p control map to determine whether the data is under control and an analysis is carried out using a fishbone diagram to determine the cause of defects consisting of man, machine, material, measurement, method and environment factors.
