Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menurunkan total produk yang cacat dan meminimalkan aktivitas perbaikan dalam proses produksi sepatu di departemen assembly PT Pelita Tomangmas dengan menggunakan metode Six Sigma melalui pendekatan DMAIC serta saran perbaikan akan dilakukan dengan menganalisis menggunakan diagram tulang ikan. PT. Pelita Tomangmas is a manufacturing company that produces shoes for export to VOS and FGS. However, they are facing quality issues in the assembly department, where defects occur frequently in the production process. Based on the calculations of DPMO and the average sigma from October to December 2021, the values are 21363.04 and 3.5264 respectively. The production department also has a process capability index, or Cpk, of 0.67528. This research aims to reduce the total number of defective products and minimize repair activities in the shoe production process in the assembly department of PT Pelita Tomangmas. It will be achieved by using the Six Sigma method through the DMAIC approach. Improvement suggestions will be made by analyzing using a fishbone diagram.
