ANALISIS PEMILIHAN SUPPLIER BAHAN BAKU BENANG RAYON 30s DAN BENANG KATUN 40s DENGAN METODE GREY BASED TOPSIS (STUDI KASUS: PT ISKANDAR INDAH PRINTING TEXTILE SURAKARTA)

Aktivitas memilih supplier merupakan suatu hal yang strategis dilakukan terlebih dalam menentukan supplier yang memasok item yang paling dibutuhkan dan memberi dampak resiko bagi perusahaan dan bekerja sama dalam jangka panjang sebagai supplier penting. PT Iskandar Indah Printing Textile merupakan suatu perusahaan manufaktur yang bergerak dibidang tekstil yang memiliki masalah pada proses pemilihan supplier bahan baku berupa benang rayon 30s dan benang katun 40s. Masalah yang dihadapi berupa keterlambatan pengiriman barang, kualitas yang tidak sesuai antara barang pesan dan yang dikirim oleh supplier, pengembalian barang kepada supplier yang cukup banyak, dan timbulnya afal benang diatas batas target maksimum 3%. Dalam proses produksi, benang berperan penting karena jalannya operasi perusahaan tergantung ada atau tidaknya benang tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasikan supplier multi attribute yang paling sesuai dengan kriteria pemilihan supplier yang sudah ditentukan menggunakan metode Grey Based TOPSIS. Terdapat 5 kriteria yang didapatkan berdasarkan studi literatur dan brainstorm oleh peneliti dengan staff bagian pengadaan. Kriteria tersebut diantaranya regulatory compliance, quality, cost, service, dan hubungan kerja sama. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan supplier terbaik yaitu supplier C kemudian supplier A,E,D,F, dan terburuk adalah B untuk benang rayon 30s. Sedangkan, supplier terbaik untuk benang katun 40s adalah X, kemudian Y, dan yang terburuk adalah Z.

ANALYSIS OF SUPPLIER SELECTION OF RAYON YARN 30s AND COTTON YARN 40s WITH GRAY BASED TOPSIS METHOD (CASE STUDY: PT ISKANDAR INDAH PRINTING TEXTILE SURAKARTA). The activity of selecting suppliers is a strategic thing to do, especially in determining suppliers who supply the most needed items and have an impact on risk for the company and work together in the long term as important suppliers. PT Iskandar Indah Printing Textile is a manufacturing company engaged in textiles which has problems in the process of selecting suppliers of raw materials in the form of rayon yarn 30s and cotton yarn 40s. Problems faced in the form of delays in delivery of goods, quality that does not match between ordered goods and those sent by suppliers, returns of goods to suppliers are quite a lot, and the incidence of yarn loss above the maximum target limit of 3%. In the production process, yarn plays an important role because the company's operations depend on the presence or absence of the yarn. The purpose of this study is to identify the multi-attribute supplier that best fits the supplier selection criteria that have been determined using the Gray Based TOPSIS method. There are 5 criteria obtained based on literature studies and brainstorms by researchers with procurement staff. These criteria include regulatory compliance, quality, cost, service, and cooperative relationships. The results of the study found that the best supplier was supplier C then supplier A, E, D, F, and the worst was B for 30s rayon yarn. Meanwhile, the best supplier for 40s cotton yarn is X, then Y, and the worst supplier is Z.
