ANALISIS RISIKO KESELAMATAN DAN KESEHATAN KERJA GUNA MEMINIMALISIR POTENSI HAZARD PADA PROSES FABRIKASI BAJA

Abstrak

Proses kerja fabrikasi memiliki banyak potensi bahaya salah satu penyebabnya yaitu kurang kesadaran dan kepatuhan pekerja terhadap instruksi kerja yang ada. PT. Wijaya Karya Industri dan Konsutruksi memiliki permasalahan yaitu masih terdapat insiden atau kecelakaan kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan identifikasi potensi bahaya dan memberikan penilaian risiko kecelakaan kerja pada area fabrikasi di PT. Wijaya Karya Industri dan Konsutruksi; memberikan usulan pengendalian risiko kecelakaan kerja pada area dabrikasi baja di PT. Wijaya Karya Industri dan Konsutruksi. Hasil penelitian didapatkan 33 sumber bahaya dan 62 risiko di area fabrikasi. Tingkat risiko didapatkan 3 risiko ekstrem berupa luka sayat, pada aktivitas cutting, luka gores pada aktivitas drilling, dan ganguan pendengeran pada aktivitas fit-up; 20 risiko high dari luka bakar pada proses welding, luka pada organ mata, dan sebagainya; 20 risiko medium dari 62 risiko, dan didapatkan 19 risiko low dari 62 risiko. Rekomendasi perbaikan yang diberikan yaitu pembagian kuesioner pemahaman pekerja secara berkala selama 4 bulan sekali, diberlakukan tes assessment, Penggunaan Contractor Safety Management System, Penggunaan Health and Safety Environment Plan, dan Penggunaan Handy Talky.

Abstract

[OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH RISK ANALYSIS TO MINIMIZE POTENTIAL HAZARDS IN THE STEEL FABRICATION PROCESS] The fabrication work process has many potential hazards, one of the causes is the lack of awareness and compliance of workers with existing work instructions. PT Wijaya Karya Industri and Konsutruksi has a problem that there are still work incidents or accidents. This study aims to identify potential hazards and provide an assessment of the risk of work accidents in the fabrication area at PT Wijaya Karya Industri and Konsutruksi; provide recommendations for controlling the risk of work accidents in the steel fabrication area at PT Wijaya Karya Industri and Konsutruksi. The results of the study obtained 33 sources of danger and 62 risks in the fabrication area. The risk level obtained 3 extreme risks in the form of cuts, in cutting activities, scratches in drilling activities, and hearing impairment in fit-up activities; 20 high risks from burns in the welding process, injuries to the eye organs, and so on; 20 medium risks from 62 risks, and obtained 19 low risks from 62 risks. The improvement recommendations given are the distribution of worker understanding questionnaires periodically for 4 months, the implementation of assessment tests, the use of Contractor Safety Management System, Health and Safety Environment Plan, and Handy Talky.
