USULAN KEBIJAKAN INVENTORY DAN SAFETY STOCK PERSEDIAAN BAHAN PENGEMAS BOX PACKAGING TIPE X (STUDI KASUS PT. Supratik Suryamas)

PT. Supratik Suryamas adalah perusahaan manufaktur yang proses produksinya mengolah bahan baku bijih plastik menjadi produk berupa botol, jerigen, garpu, dan lain-lain. PT. Supratik Suryamas dalam pengadaaan box X ini mengalami kondisi overstock maupun stockout. kebutuhan bahan pengemmas Box X pada periode Januari 2021 hingga Desember 2010 diatas, dapat dilihat bahwa pada bulan Februari 2021 PT. Supratik Suryamas mengalami stockout, yaitu kekurangan bahan pengemas Box X karena kebutuhan pada bulan itu sebesar 2835 box sedangkan stok yang ada hanya 100 box. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan usulan perbaikan terkait sistem inventory, usulan mengenai forecasting bahan pengemas box X untuk 12 bulan, dan memberikan usulan mengenai safety stock di perusahaan. Terdapat beberapa metode peramalan yang dijadikan alternatif pengganti metode peramalan perusahaan, yakni metode Simple Average, Single Moving Average , Single Exponential Smoothing, dan 5 Double Moving Average. Hasil dari penelitian diketahui bahwa biaya yang dikeluarkan perusahaan sebesar Rp. 8.106.695,2 Sedangakan total biaya persediaan bila menggunakan metode EOQ adalah sebesar Rp. 4.425.252. dapat diketahui penghematannya sebesar Rp 3.681.443,5. Berdasarkan perbandingan nilai MAPE, maka metode yang terpilih ialah metode Single Moving Average dengan MAPE sebesar 27,4%..

Abstract

[Proposed Inventorry and Safety Stock Supply of Box Packaging Type X, Case Study : PT Supratik Suryamas] PT. Supratik Suryamas is a manufacturing company whose production process processes plastic ore raw materials into products such as bottles, jerry cans, forks, and others. PT. Supratik Suryamas in the procurement of box X experienced overstock and stockout conditions. the need for Box X packaging materials in the period January 2021 to December 2010 above, it can be seen that in February 2021 PT. Supratik Suryamas experienced a stockout, namely a shortage of Box X packaging materials because the need for that month was 2835 boxes while the stock was only 100 boxes. The purpose of this study is to provide suggestions for improvements related to the inventory system, suggestions regarding forecasting of X box packaging materials for 12 months, and provide suggestions regarding safety stock in the company. There are several forecasting methods that are used as alternatives to company forecasting methods, namely the Simple Average, Single Moving Average, Single Exponential Smoothing, and 5 Double Moving Average methods. The results of the research show that the costs incurred by the company are Rp. 8,106,695.2 While the total cost of inventory when using the EOQ method is Rp. 4,425,252. it can be seen that the savings amounted to IDR 3,681,443.5. Based on the comparison of MAPE values, the method chosen is the Single Moving Average method with a MAPE of 27.4%.
