PERANCANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI PENENTUAN KEPUTUSAN PRODUKSI BERBASIS MACRO VISUAL BASIC FOR APPLICATION (VBA) DI PERUSAHAAN SEPEDA MOTOR

Teknologi informasi merupakan sarana yang sangat memengaruhi kehidupan. Berkembangnya teknologi membuat proses pengolahan data menjadi lebih canggih dan cepat. Pada PT XYZ, penentuan keputusan produksi masih dilakukan secara manual sehingga membutuhkan waktu yang lama dan dapat terjadi ketidaksesuaian. Ketidaksesuaian yang dimaksud yaitu tidak sesuainya hasil penentuan jumlah produksi dengan level stok yang distandarkan untuk setiap bagian produksi. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang program berupa sistem informasi penentuan keputusan produksi di setiap bagian produksi. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan yaitu metode Waterfall yang merupakan salah satu metode SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle). Dalam pengembangan sistem ini, penulis menggunakan beberapa tools seperti use case diagram, flowchart, Activity Diagram, Data Flow Diagram, dan Entity Relationship Diagram. Penulis menggunakan Macro Visual Basic for Application (VBA) untuk mengimplementasikan hasil rancangan. Berdasarkan Black Box Testing yang dilakukan, sistem informasi telah berhasil dirancang sesuai dengan kebutuhannya, baik fungsional maupun non fungsional. Dari hasil analisis perbandingan, diharapkan sistem informasi penentuan keputusan produksi dapat membuat proses penentuan keputusan jumlah produksi di antar bagian produksi menjadi lebih cepat dan hasilnya sesuai dengan standar level stok setiap bagian produksi.

[Design of Production Decision Making Information System Based on Macro Visual Basic for Application (VBA) in Motorcycle Company] Information technology is a tool that greatly affects life. The development of technology makes the data processing more sophisticated and faster. In PT. XYZ, the production decisions is still done manually so it takes a long time and there can be discrepancies. The discrepancy is the incompatibility of the results of determining the amount of production with the standardized stock level for each production section. Therefore, this study aims to design a program that system information for determining production decisions in each production section. The system development method used is the Waterfall method which is one of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) method. In developing this system, the author uses several tools such as use case diagram, flowchart, Activity Diagram, Data Flow Diagram, and Entity Relationship Diagram. The author uses Macro Visual Basic for Application (VBA) to implement the design results. Based on the Black Box testing conducted, the information system has been succesfully designed according to its needs, both functional and nonfunctional. From the results of the comparison analysis, it is expected that the information system can make decisions on the amount of production to be faster and the results are in accordance with the standard stock level of each production section.
