ANALISIS PEMILIHAN SUPPLIER BAHAN BAKU KELAPA SAWIT MENGGUNAKAN ANALYTICAL HIERARCHY PROCESS (AHP) PADA PKS HAPESONG (Studi Kasus: PT. PERKEBUNAN NUSANTARA III)

PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang usaha perkebunan, pengolahan dan pemasaran hasil perkebunan. Kelapa sawit merupakan salah bahan baku utama yang akan diolah menjadi minyak sawit (CPO) dan inti sawit (Kernel). Dalam proses produksi kelapa sawit pada salah satu pabriknya yaitu PKS Hapesong memiliki kendala dimana hasil produksi tidak sesuai dengan target. Salah satu penyebab utamanya adalah faktor bahan baku atau kelapa sawit yang diperoleh dari supplier tidak seperti yang diharapkan (Herjanto, 2008). Sehingga produksi minyak sawit tidak sesuai dengan target yang sudah dibuat. Maka dilakukan evaluasi terhadap supplier kelapa sawit untuk memilih supplier terbaik agar produksi yang dilakukan mencapai target yang sudah dibuat. Evaluasi supplier dilakukan dengan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). AHP adalah analisis yang digunakan dalam pengambilan keputusan dengan pendekatan sistem, dimana pengambil keputusan berusaha memahami suatu kondisi sistem dan membantu melakukan prediksi dalam mengambil keputusan. Beberapa supplier dianalisis dan dinilai dengan metode AHP. Kemudian dipilih supplier dengan skor atau nilai yang tertinggi.

Abstract

PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III is a company engaged in the plantation business, processing, and marketing of plantation products. Palm oil is one of the main raw materials to be processed into palm oil (CPO) and palm kernel. In the process of producing palm oil at one of the factories, namely PKS Hapesong, there was a problem where the production did not meet the target. One of the main causes is the factor of raw materials or palm oil obtained from suppliers not being as expected (Herjanto, 2008). So the production of palm oil is not by the targets that have been made. Then an evaluation of palm oil suppliers is carried out to choose the best supplier so that the product reaches the target that has been made. Supplier evaluation is carried out using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. AHP is an analysis used in decision-making with a systems approach, where decision-makers try to understand a system condition and help make predictions in making decisions. Several suppliers were analyzed and assessed using the AHP method. Then the supplier with the highest score or value is selected.
