Untuk menerapkan SNI ISO/IEC 20000-1 tersebut, maka penelitan melakukan persiapan dengan tahap-tahap sebagai berikut: evaluasi kualitas layanan yang berjalan selama ini, studi pustaka terkait manajemen layanan, penyusunan gap analysist, penyusunan dokumen untuk penerapan SNI ISO/IEC 20000-1. Dalam persiapan tersebut juga dilakukan studi tentang sistem manajemen layanan secara umum, maupun khusus yang terkait teknologi informasi. Dokumen disusun berpedoman kepada klausul-klausul yang terdapat dalam SNI ISO/IEC 20000-1, untuk dijadikan sebagai pedoman bagi Pusdatin dalam rangka peningkatan kualitas layanan kepada seluruh unit kerja di BSN. Terdapat 11 layanan di Pusdatin yang akan didukung dengan penerapan SNI ISO/IEC 20000-1, dengan dokumen dan prosedur yang telah disusun dan diharapkan untuk diterapkan secara konsisten dan konsekuen. To implement the SNI ISO/IEC 20000-1, the research carried out preparations with the following stages: evaluation of the quality of services that have been running so far, literature study related to service management, preparation of gap analysist, preparation of documents for the application of SNI ISO/IEC 20000- 1. In this preparation, a study was also conducted on service management systems in general, as well as specifically related to information technology. The document is prepared based on the clauses contained in SNI ISO/IEC 20000-1, to be used as a guideline for Pusdatin in order to improve the quality of services to all work units in BSN. There are 11 services at Pusdatin that will be supported by the application of SNI ISO/IEC 20000-1, with documents and procedures that have been prepared and are expected to be applied consistently and consistently.
