Abstrak PT Astra International UD Trucks bergerak dalam bidang jasa perbaiakan kendaraan atau bengkel. Dalam operasional harian warehouse Spare Part berperan penting dalam pelayanan jasa service maupun jasa penjualan suku cadang serta kegiatan penerimaan, penyimpanan dan pendistribusian ke customer maupun ke teknisi. Pada bagian gudang Spare Partbagian gudang penyimpanan terdapat permasalahan diantaranya tidak berfungsinya area penerimaan Spare Part yang baru saja datang sebagai jalur penerimaan dan distribusi Spare Partsehingga banyak part yang tidak tertampung dalam gudang dan aliran part menjadi terhambat. Pengalokasian komponen part dan penataan ulang tata letak yang tepat adalah kunci meminimasijarak transport guna mengakses dan mendistribusikan barang atau part. Salah satu cara untuk mengefektifkan pengalokasian, mengefesienkan waktu dan kondisi rapih yang dibutuhkan guna mempercepat penyimpanan maupun pendistribusian Spare Part serta Spare Part yang tidak berantakan adalah dengan merancang ulang layout gudang Spare Part dan menambah jumlah tempat penyimpanan pada gudang. Dengan bertambahnya tempat penyimpanan diharapkan masalah yang ada saat ini dapat dikurangi atau ditiadakan. Pengaturan tata letak gudang Penggunaan metode “Class Based Moving Part Storage Policy”merupakan metode memisahkan part part berdasarkan moving part dengan menglasifikasi kelas fast moving, lalu medium moving,kemudian ada kelas Slow moving. Abstract [Title: IMPROVEMENT OF SPARE PART PLACEMENT LAYOUT WITH “CLASS BASED MOVING PART STORAGE” METHOD IN SPARE PART WAREHOUSE (Case Study in PT Astra International UD Trucks Cabang Bekasi)] PT Astra International UD Trucks is engaged in vehicle repair services or workshops. In the daily operations of the Spare Part warehouse, it plays an important role in servicing and selling spare parts as well as receiving, storing and distributing activities to customers and technicians. In the Spare Parts warehouse section, there are problems, including the malfunction of the Spare Parts receiving area which has just arrived as a Spare Parts receiving and distribution line, so that many parts are not accommodated in the warehouse and the flow of parts is hampered. Allocating parts and rearranging the right layout are the keys to minimizing transport distances in order to access and distribute goods or parts. One way to streamline the allocation, streamline the time and tidy conditions needed to speed up the storage and distribution of spare parts and spare parts that are not messy is to redesign the layout of the spare part warehouse and increase the number of storage areas in the warehouse. With the increase in storage space, it is hoped that current problems can be reduced or eliminated. Setting the warehouse layout The use of the "Class Based Moving Part Storage Policy" method is a method of separating parts based on moving parts by classifying the fast moving class, then medium moving, then there is the Slow moving class.
