PENGENDALIAN KUALITAS PADA PRODUK RAW SAWN TIMBER DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE SIX SIGMA DI PERUM PERHUTANI INDUSTRI KAYU BRUMBUNG

Abstract

Abstrak Perum Perhutani merupakan suatu perusahaan milik negara yang bergerak di bidang pengolahan kayu. Pada proses produksi terutama produk raw sawn timber masih banyak ditemukan produk cacat. Dari 15 data historis yang telah diambil, hampir disetiap periode menghasilkan lebih dari keketapan yang telah ditentukan oleh pihak manajemen mengenai produk cacat sebesar 30%. Pengendalian kualitas di lantai produksi untuk produk raw sawn timber sangat diperlukan agar meminimalisir produk cacat yang diproduksi dengan menggunakan metode six sigma dan tools DMAIC (define, measure, analyze, improve, dam control) sehingga nilai DPMO dan level sigma perusahaan dapat diketahui. Pada paper ini akan diberikan usulan perbaikan yang telah didiskusikan dengan kepala bagian PPIC perum perhutani untuk produk raw sawn timber agar kualitas dari produksinya meningkat. Abstract [Tittle: Quality Control in Raw Sawn Timber Product Using Six Sigma Methods in Perum Perhutunai Industri Kayu Brumbung.] Perum Perhutani is a state-owned company engaged in wood processing. In the production process, especially raw sawn timber products, there are still many defective products. Of the 15 historical data that have been taken, almost every period yields more than the determination determined by management regarding defective products by 30%. Quality control on the production floor for raw sawn timber products is needed to minimize defective products produced by using the Six Sigma method and DMAIC tools (define, measure, analyze, improve, and control) so that the DPMO value and the company sigma level can be known. In this paper, a proposed improvement will be discussed which has been discussed with the head of the PPIC Perum Perhutani for raw sawn timber products so that the quality of their production increases.
