ANALISIS PENYEBAB DEFECT PADA RAW MATERIAL KERTAS ROL DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE SEVEN TOOLS & SOLUSI PERBAIKAN DENGAN METODE FAILURE MODE AND EFFECT ANALYSIS (FMEA) (Studi Kasus: PT. Masscom Graphy)

Abstract

Analisis Penyebab Defect Pada Raw Material Kertas Rol Dengan Menggunakan Metode Seven Tools & Solusi Perbaikan Dengan Metode Failure Mode And Effect Analysis (FMEA) Kualitas menjadi salah satu pertimbangan konsumen dalam memilih produk. Oleh sebab itu, setiap perusahaan pastinya memiliki bagian quality control untuk memastikan produk yang dihasilkan telah sesuai standar kualitas perusahaan. Bagian quality control PT Masscom Graphy sendiri berusaha menjaga produk koran yang dihasilkan memiliki kualitas baik. Pada penelitian kali ini ditemukan masalah yang dapat menimbulkan dampak besar pada bagian quality assessment perihal banyaknya defect pada raw material kertas rol. Penelitian ini berusaha mengamati, menganalisis, dan memberikan saran untuk mengurangi masalah defect pada raw maerial kertas rol yang merupakan bahan baku pembuatan koran tersebut. Dengan metode seven tools dan FMEA, didapatkan hasil jenis defect tertinggi raw material kertas rol adalah sisi tertekuk, lembab, serta klontong terlalu besar. Dari ketiga defect tersebut, faktor operator mesin menjadi kunci utama penyebab kecacatan (defect) berdasarkan dengan nilai Risk Priority Number (RPN) yang sudah dihitung dengan mendapatkan bobot nilai RPN sebesar 1365. Usulan perbaikan untuk mengatasi masalah tesebut adalah dengan memberikan teguran bagi para operator mesin.

Analisis Penyebab Defect Pada Raw Material Kertas Rol Dengan Menggunakan Metode Seven Tools & Solusi Perbaikan Dengan Metode Failure Mode And Effect Analysis (FMEA) Quality becomes one of consumer consideration in choosing the product. Therefore, each company must have a quality control section to ensure that the products are in accordance with company quality standards. The quality control part of PT Masscom Graphy itself tries to keep the product produced good quality. In this study, a problem was found that could have a major impact on the quality assessment of the number of defects in raw paper roll material. This research tries to observe, analyze, and give suggestions to reduce defect problem on the raw material of roll paper which is the raw material of the newspaper. With the method of seven tools and FMEA, obtained the highest defect type of raw material of roll paper is side bent, moist, and klontong too big. Of the three defects, the factor of the machine operator is the key to the cause of the defect based on the Risk Priority Number (RPN) value which has been calculated by obtaining RPN value of 1365. The proposed improvement to overcome the problem is by giving a reprimand to the machine operator.
