ANALISIS PENGENDALIAN KUALITAS DENGAN METODE SIX SIGMA PADA PROSES PRODUKSI BARECORE PT. BAKTI PUTRA NUSANTARA

Abstract

PT Bakti Putra Nusantara merupakan salah satu perusahaan kayu yang fokus dalam pembuatan barecore. Dalam proses produksinya, masih banyak barecore yang harus melalui proses rework hingga melebihi target yang ditentukan oleh perusahaan. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa produk cacat yang dihasilkan oleh PT Bakti Putra Nusantara.masih banyak. Padahal konsumen menginginkan produk yang baik dalam kualitasnya dan berestetika. Proses rework sendiri tentunya merugikan bagi perusahaan karena memakan biaya tambahan yang harus dikeluarkan untuk merevisi kecacatan dari produk. Oleh karena itu, perusahaan harus dapat meminimasi produk cacat yang dihasilkan setiap harinya. Sebelum merencanakan kegiatan minimasi produk cacat, perlu dilakukan terlebih dahulu analisa penyebab terjadinya cacat pada produk. Pada penelitian ini akan dianalisa faktor-faktor apa saja yang menyebakan terjadinya cacat pada produk barecore. Setelah itu, penyebab paling kritis yang diketahui perlu dilakukan tindakan perbaikan agar minimasi dari produk cacat tercapai. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Six Sigma yang mencakup tahap Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control (DMAIC).

[Quality Control Analysis With Six Sigma Method In Production Process Barecore PT. Bakti Putra Nusantara] PT Bakti Putra Nusantara is one of the timber companies that focus on making barecore. In the production process, there are still many barecore that must go through the rework process to exceed the target set by the company. It shows that defective products produced by PT Bakti Putra Nusantara are still many. Though consumers want a good product in quality and aesthetics. The rework process itself is certainly detrimental to the company as it costs extra to incur to revise the defects of the product. Therefore, the company must be able to minimize the defective products produced every day. Before planning the minimization activities of defective products, it is necessary first to analyze the cause of defects in the product. In this research will be analyzed what factors cause the occurrence of defects in barecore products. After that, the most critical cause is known to be corrective action to minimize the defect product is achieved. The method used is Six Sigma method which includes Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control (DMAIC).
