Analisa Perhitungan Nilai Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) Pada Tiga Proses Pengolahan CPO dan Analisis Six Big Losses di Pabrik Kelapa Sawit PT. (Bukit Barisan Indah Prima) BBIP PALM GROUP

Abstract

Perusahaan penghasil minyak  sawit mentah merupakan salah satu industri yang berkembang pesat pada saat ini. PT.BBIP Palm Group merupakan salah satu industri minyak sawit mentah yang terletak di provinsi Jambi. Permasalahan yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini yaitu breakdown dan overhaul yang terjadi pada 3 mesin selama tanggal 9 Februari hingga 5 Maret 2016. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer berisi tentang hasil wawancara dengan operator mesin dan bagian maintenance perusahaan tentang penyebab breakdown mesin tersebut, sedangkan data sekunder berisi tentang data delay mesin, data cycle time mesin, dan data reject mesin. Nilai OEE merupakan pendekatan untuk mengetahui apakah perusahaan sudah baik dari segi kualitas produk yang dihasilkan, performansi dari mesin yang digunakan serta ketersediaan mesin dan peralatan dalam proses produksi. Sementara six big losses adalah nilai kerugian yang ditanggung perusahaan akibat ketidaksesuaian hasil yang diperoleh. Hasil perhitungan OEE bulan Januari – Februari 2015 menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas mesin masih rendah yaitu berkisar antara 43.77% - 58.88 %. Penyebab utama rendahnya nilai OEE pada 3 proses pengolahan CPO adalah performance rate akibat performa dari mesin yang sudah menurun karena faktor mesin yang tua dan perusahaan belum mampu untuk mengganti mesin karena harganya yang mahal , hal tersebut membuat kecepatan dalam memproduksi produk rendah dan terjadi keterlambatan antar proses serta banyak produk cacat. Dari nilai 6 big losses yang paling tinggi adalah breakdown mesin yang juga berkaitan dengan nilai availability rate pada OEE.

ABSTRACT

Analysis of value calculation Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) in 3 process of CPO processing and analysis 6 big losses in Palm Oil Factory PT. ( Bukit Barisan Indah Prima ) BBIP Palm Group.  Companies that produce crude palm oil is one of the rapidly growing industry at this time. PT.BBIP Palm Group is one of the crude palm oil industry in Jambi. Breakdown and overhaul that occurred on 3 machines during February 9 to March 5, 2016 are issues raised in this research. The data used in this study consisted of primary data and secondary data. Primary data contains the results of interviews with the machine operators and maintenance division about the cause of the breakdown of the machine, while the secondary data contains delay machines, cycle time machine, and the machine reject. OEE values is an approach to determine whether the company has been good in terms of product quality, performance of the machines used and the availability of machinery and equipment in the production process. While the six big losses are effect by the company for losses due to a mismatch results. OEE calculation results in January - February 2015 shows that the effectiveness of machine ranged between 43.77%  - 58.88%. The cause of  low value OEE at 3 processing CPO is a performance rate due to the performance of the engine has decreased because of the machines were old and the company has not been able to replace the engine because the price is expensive, it makes the speed in producing low and there is a delay between processes as well as many defective products. The engine breakdown is the most high value from 6 big losses which also relates to the availability value rate on OEE.
