PERBAIKAN PROSES ISSUANCE UNTUK MENCAPAI KETEPATAN WAKTU PENGIRIMAN KOMPONEN PADA PT. UNITED TRACTORS PANDU ENGINEERING (UTPE)

Abstract

PT United Tractors Pandu Engineering (UTPE) bergerak sebagai agen alat-alat berat (Heavy Equipment). Warehouse pada PT. UTPE memiliki peran utama dalam menjaga akurasi stok dan menyuplai barang ke bagian produksi, serta mengatur dan menjaga inventory gudang. Kondisi Warehouse saat ini memiliki proses Issuance yang masih lama dengan manhour yang tinggi, yaitu 641 menit. Pada tahapan proses Issuance komponen yang sangat berpengaruh, yaitu tahapan mempersiapkan dan mencari komponen. Penempatan, pengelompokkan, dan identifikasi komponen secara sistem terpelihara pada dua lokasi, yaitu Warehouse Management (WM) dan Inventory Management (IM) yang belum terimplementasi dan terstandardisasi dengan baik. Metode yang dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan Six Sigma DMAIC dengan menggunakan diagram SIPOC untuk mengidentifikasi semua elemen yang relevan dalam fase Define. Dalam proses Analyze digunakan Drilldown Tree Analysis untuk menentukan akar penyebab masalah yang kemudian didapatkan beberapa solusi alternatif. Selanjutnya diagram Pareto digunakan untuk menentukan solusi alternatif mana yang paling perlu dilakukan untuk menghasilkan manfaat yang paling besar. Hasilnya terdapat tiga solusi alternatif utama, yaitu memperbaiki storage bin, memperbaiki sistem ke WM, dan relayout storage location. Ketiga hal tersebut terbukti dapat mempercepat waktu pengiriman komponen ke produksi sehingga proses produksi tidak terhambat dan target pengiriman produk ke konsumen tercapai.

United Tractors Pandu Engineering (UTPE)] PT United Tractors Pandu Engineering (UTPE) moves as an agent of heavy equipment (Heavy Equipment). Warehouse on PT. UTPE have a major role in maintaining the accuracy of stock and supply of goods into the production, as well as organize and maintain inventory warehouse. Warehouse conditions today have a process that is still a long Issuance by man hour high, namely 641 minutes. At the stage of the process Issuance highly influential component, namely the stages of preparing and searching for components. Placement, grouping, and identification of components in the system maintained at two locations, namely Warehouse Management (WM) and Inventory Management (IM) which has not been implemented and standardized well. The method is performed using Six Sigma DMAIC approach using SIPOC diagram to identify all the relevant elements in the Define phase. Analyze the process used in the Drilldown Tree Analysis to determine the root cause of the problem which then obtained some alternative solutions. Furthermore, Pareto diagram is used to determine where the most alternative solution needs to be done to produce the greatest benefits. The result, there are three main alternative solutions, which is improve storage bin, fixing the system to the WM, and re-layout storage location. Thirdly it is proven to speed up the delivery of components to production so that the production process is not hampered, and targeted delivery of products to consumers is reached.
