ANALISIS AKSESIBILITAS SHELTER BRT TERHADAP SMP DAN SMA NEGERI DI KOTA SEMARANG BERBASIS SISTEM INFORMASI GEOGRAFIS

Abstract

ABSTRAK

          Pertumbuhan kendaraan di Kota Semarang pertahunya sebesar 12%. Sedangkan pertumbuhan jalan hanya 0,9% pertahun. Begitu juga dengan tingginya mobilitas masyarakat dan pertumbuhan penduduk yang ikut menyumbang kepadatan jalan di Kota Semarang. Faktor tersebut tidak diimbangi oleh fasilitas angkutan umum yang memadai. Salah satu angkutan umum yang digunakan oleh masyarakat Kota Semarang adalah Bus Rapid Transit (BRT). Tidak hanya masyarakat umum yang menggunakan BRT, tetapi juga pelajar. Menurut data penumpang BRT tahun 2018, 30% dari penumpang BRT adalah pelajar. Pelayanan BRT Trans Semarang untuk saat ini memiliki 7 koridor. Jumlah koridor BRT Trans Semarang yang mencapai 7 koridor belum cukup untuk mengakomodir kebutuhan masyarakat terutama siswa sekolah. Aksesibilitas shelter BRT Trans Semarang sangat penting untuk mendukung fasilitas umum pada sistem wajib belajar. Analisis aksesibilitas digunakan untuk mengetahui cakupan layanan shelter terhadap sekolah. Analisis tersebut bisa dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG). Analisis aksesibilitas tersebut berupa analisis jarak dengan menggunakan network analysis. Setelah dianalisis kemudian didapatkan sekolah yang terakses maupun yang tidak terakses. Sekolah yang tidak terakses direncanakan rute tercepat dengan menggunakan closest facility dan rekomendasi penambahan shelter dengan menggunakan network analysis. Hasil dari analisis tersebut diperoleh dari 44 SMP Negeri di Kota Semarang, hanya 15 sekolah yang memiliki akses. Sementara pada jenjang SMA, dari 16 sekolah yang ada hanya 8 sekolah yang memiliki akses. Dan rekomendasi penambahan shelter ada 4 titik, yaitu untuk menjangkau SMP N 4 Semarang, SMP N 8 Semarang, SMP N 10 Semarang, dan SMP N 32 Semarang.

ABSTRACT

           The growth of vehicles in Semarang City is 12%. While road growth is only 0.9% per year. Likewise, the high mobility of the people and population growth contributed to the density of roads in the city of Semarang. This factor is not balanced by adequate public transportation facilities. One of the public transportation used by the people of Semarang City is Bus Rapid Transit (BRT). Not only the general public uses BRT, but also students. According to BRT passenger data in 2018, 30% of BRT passengers are students. The Trans Semarang BRT service currently has 7 corridors. The number of Trans Semarang BRT corridors reaching 7 corridors is not enough to accommodate the needs of the community, especially school students. Accessibility of Trans Semarang BRT shelter is very important to support public facilities in the compulsory education system. Accessibility analysis is used to determine the coverage of shelter services to schools. This analysis can be done by utilizing the Geographic Information System (GIS). Accessibility analysis is in the form of distance analysis using network analysis. After being analyzed, it was found that accessible and non-accessible schools. Schools that are not accessible are planned for the fastest route by using the closest facility and recommendations for adding shelter by using network analysis. The results of the analysis were obtained from 44 Public Middle Schools in Semarang City, only 15 schools were accessed The results of the analysis were obtained from 44 state junior high schools in Semarang, only 15 schools has access.
