KEKUATAN WELAS ASIH DIRI DALAM MEDIA SOSIAL: PENGARUHNYA TERHADAP SUBJECTIVE WELL-BEING PADA EMERGING ADULTS

Abstract

Masa emerging adults ditandai oleh pencarian jati diri, ketidakpastian peran dan tekanan sosial yang kian rumit akibat intensitas penggunaan media sosial. Kondisi ini kerap menimbulkan perbandingan sosial dan penilaian diri negatif, sehingga diperlukan sumber daya psikologis yang melindungi kesejahteraan individu. Penelitian ini berfokus pada pengaruh self-compassion terhadap subjective well-being pada emerging adults pengguna media sosial di Indonesia. Sebanyak 570 partisipan berusia 18-29 tahun berpartisipasi melalui pengisian kuesioner daring dan luring. Pengukuran menggunakan Self-Compassion Scale-Short Form (SCS-SF) dan skala subjective well-being yang mencakup kepuasan hidup dan afek subjektif. Analisis regresi linear sederhana dengan Jamovi 2.7.16 menunjukkan bahwa self-compassion berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap subjective well-being (β = 0,746), dengan 24,7% subjective well-being dipengaruhi oleh self-compassion. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya sikap welas asih diri dalam menjaga kesejahteraan psikologis di masa transisi menuju kedewasaan.
