MELIHAT PERAN PEMAAFAN PADA RESILIENSI AKADEMIK SISWA

Abstract

Siswa yang dihadapkan dengan perjuangan akademik berada pada kondisi beresiko lanjut, untuk menghadapi masalah-masalah, perkembangan, perilaku dan kesehatan mental. Berbagai tantangan dan kondisi kesulitan yang mendalam membutuhkan kemampuan untuk bertahan, bangkit kembali dari kondisi-kondisi yang sangat menekan, menjadi pribadi yang memiliki resiliensi Akademik yang kuat. Dalam pendidikan, konsep dan kerja empirik dari resiliensi sangat dibutuhkan untuk melihat perbedaan siswa yang mampu melenting dari berbagai tekanan akademis yang ada, dan yang tidak. Menjadi pribadi sukses dalam menghadapi masalah akademik memerlukan adanya kemampuan untuk melakukan pemaafan terhadap kegagalan akademik yang menjadi sumber rasa bersalah, sehingga individu dapat bergerak maju terus dengan pencapaian-pencapaian yang ada. Penelitian ini dikembangkan dengan tujuan mendapatkan gambaran hubungan antara pemaafan dengan resiliensi akademik. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada Siswa SMK  X di kota Semarang, Jawa Tengah, dengan subjek penelitian 93 orang. Data dikumpulkan dengan Skala Resiliensi Akademik ((α = 0.729) dan Skala Pemaafan (α = 0.799). Hasil analisis data menggunakan uji regresi, menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan antara pemaafan dengan resiliensi akademik (R=0.41; p<0.001; F=18.04). Koefisien Determinasi sebesar 0.17, menunjukkan sumbangan efektif pemaafan sebesar 17% kepada resiliensi akademik.
