ANALISIS PENGARUH IMPLEMENTASI PRAKTIK BERKELANJUTAN DENGAN BASIS ESG TERHADAP KINERJA KEUANGAN PERUSAHAAN YANG DIMODERASI OLEH KARAKTERISTIK CEO (Studi pada Perusahaan Manufaktur yang Terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia 2018 – 2022)

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to examine the effects of Environmental (ENV), Social (SOC), and Governance (GOV) on financial performance represented by Return on Assets (ROA), moderated by CEO characteristics (CEO age (CEOA), CEO tenure (CEOT), and CEO ownership (CEOW)). The study's population comprises manufacturing sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (2018 - 2022. Purposive sampling was used to select the sample size, which is 20 companies with a total of 100 observation data. The analytical method used is moderated regression analysis (MRA). The results of the study indicate that ENV and GOV have a significant negative effect on ROA, while SOC has a significant positive effect on ROA. The moderating variable CEOA has a significant positive effect in moderating ENV on ROA, significant negative on SOC and not significant on GOV for ROA. CEOT is not significant in moderating ENV, SOC, and GOV on ROA. Additionally, CEOW is not significant in moderating ENV and SOC on ROA. However, CEOW has a significant negative effect in moderating GOV on ROA
