Abstract

Inertial navigation system can find out information on the position, velocity, and location within a short time. This sparked a search for cost-effective sensors and cheap, one with MEMS sensors. MEMS sensors have the sources of error and characteristics that must be modeled carefully and appropriately calibration. Over time the accuracy of the inertial system will decrease. to obtain data gravitational acceleration and angular velocity precision, required an accurate modeling of the sensor. Several methods has helped to get an accurate sensor model. Each has its own advantages and superiority. To be able to produce the desired information needed good analysis of sensor models. One model is the Allan Variance analysis. Allan Variance method can determine the character of a random process the data. Similarly, the discussion about the calibration of the sensor system. In this final dynamic and static tests carried out to obtain the calibration parameters and review the characteristics of the sensor performance .. By using Allan Variance and Least Square method, as well as with a variety of positions. Thus obtained parameter instability to the x-axis accelerometer bias = 0.404, y = 0:16, and z = 0.14, while the gyroscope bias instability for the x-axis gyroscope = 0.404, y = 0:16, and z = 0.14. Obtained by the method of least square error parameters scale factor x = 0.4856, y = 0.4261 scale factor, scale factor z = 0.6152. In other tests the collision axis also affects
