ANALISIS KUALITAS Pb DALAM RUANG PADA PERPARKIRAN BASEMENT DAN UPPER GROUND (Studi Kasus : Mall X, Semarang)

Abstract


Basement parking area is a covered parking area using mechanical ventilation while the upper ground parking area is parking lots that use natural ventilation. Emissions from motor vehicles in the form of lead (Pb) and if doesn’t handled properly can pollute the environment and health of workers affected as a parking ticket guards, parking attendants, and security X Mall Semarang. Research on quality analysis of Pb in the basement parking area and the upper ground monitoring effort required as indoor air quality and health of workers at the Mall. There are two study sites were divided into 4 sampling points used for sampling locations. The difference in concentration of Pb in the basement and the upper ground are influenced by the number of vehicles, temperature, humidity, and wind speed. All calculated Pb concentration is far below the quality standards according Regulation Governor of Jakarta Capital Special Region No. 58, 2008 about Standard Indoor Air Quality for Pb = 2 μg/m3. There is connection between worker illness frequention, body workout rutinity and there is also effect to vertigo that is caused by how long the workers stay in parking area. Refer on the condition, we can know that Pb in basement or upper ground parking are still save and didn’t give bad effect to the workers healthiness in Mall X Semarang.
