Abstract
Tourism significantly contributes to the national economy, reflected in domestic tourist revenue of Rp3,281 trillion in 2023 and foreign exchange earnings of US$16.7 billion in 2024. However, sustainable tourism development in Blora Regency remains suboptimal, evidenced by its ranking of 28th out of 36 regencies in tourist visits. Noyo Gimbal View, one of the developing destinations, faces several challenges in applying sustainable tourism principles. Accessibility is limited, infrastructure and supporting facilities are inadequate, and managers’ capacity to develop tourism products is constrained. Additionally, environmental management has not yet reached optimal standards. This study aims to analyze tourism development, the implementation of sustainable tourism principles, and factors influencing development in Noyo Gimbal View. A qualitative descriptive approach was used, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Results show that tourism development in Noyo Gimbal View is not yet optimal in accessibility, amenities, and ancillary services. While environmental sustainability principles are not fully implemented, economic and socio-cultural principles are applied effectively. Factors supporting sustainable tourism include demographics, economic conditions, socio-cultural aspects, and technology, while no significant inhibiting factors were identified. This study recommends improving accessibility, enhancing the quality and quantity of amenities, strengthening sup services, and managing waste and environmental resources wisely. Implementing these measures can help Noyo Gimbal View realize its potential as a sustainable tourism destination and contribute positively to the local economy and community well-being.
