Abstract

The Eco City project is an urban development initiative based on the principles of sustainability and environmental preservation. The main goal is to create an urban area that is environmentally friendly, sustainable, and has a high carrying capacity for community life. The research in this thesis uses qualitative methods, with data collection that includes primary and secondary sources. In order to accelerate and ensure the sustainability of the development of Rempang Eco City area, concrete steps are needed such as alignment of policies and regulations, data integration between institutions, and strengthening the synergy between the central government and local governments. These efforts are crucial to establish a licensing system that is not only efficient and transparent, but also upholds justice, inclusiveness, and provides legal certainty for all stakeholders.
