PERAN STAKEHOLDERS DALAM UPAYA PENURUNAN KASUS TUBERCULOSIS (TB) DI KECAMATAN PEDURUNGAN KOTA SEMARANG
Abstract
Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease that is a top health priority in Indonesia, including in Semarang City, where cases are increasing every year. In 2024, Pedurungan Sub-district recorded the highest number of TB cases. The high number of cases indicates that prevention efforts have been made, but the role of stakeholders has not been maximized. This study aims to analyze the role of stakeholders and factors that contribute to efforts to reduce TB cases in Pedurungan Sub-district. In this study using the theory of stakeholder roles according to Nugroho (2014), this study identified the role of policy creator, coordinator, facilitator, implementor, and accelerator. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with in- depth interviews and observations of the stakeholders involved. The results showed that the role of stakeholders has been running, but there are still obstacles such as the lack of optimization of some roles, low discipline of survivors in taking medicine, community stigma, and lack of public awareness of TB prevention. The driving factors come from accessibility and determinants of action, while the inhibiting factors come from stakeholders' participation and perspectives. Therefore, stakeholders need to maximize their roles and increase public awareness and survivors through intensive socialization about the dangers and prevention of TB.
