EVALUASI PROGRAM PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT DISABILITAS MELALUI BATIK CIPRAT KARYA BAROKAH DI DESA PUCUNG KABUPATEN WONOGIRI

Abstract

The empowerment program for people with disabilities through Karya Barokah's splash batik is a form of effort by the Village Government to overcome the large number of people with disabilities and utilize the problem as a potential for Pucung Village which was finally named an Inclusive Village in Indonesia. This study aims to provide an overview of the evaluation study and explain the factors that influence the empowerment program for people with disabilities through Karya Barokah's splash batik. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method, data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the empowerment program for people with disabilities carried out by the Village Government which was observed through an evaluation study with objects of observation, inquiry and explanation still found problems, such as the lack of assistants, the absence of a legal basis, the evaluation carried out so far in a small scope, namely the Village Government only, and there are imitation products in the name of Karya Barokah's splash batik. There are also factors that influence the empowerment program for people with disabilities through Karya Barokah's splash batik, the driving factor is socialization to unite the community's understanding regarding the empowerment program, and the condition of decent facilities and infrastructure. While the inhibiting factors are community participation and the role of assistants which are still minimal.
