ATRIBUT INOVASI APLIKASI SI AGAN TIRTA MOEDAL DALAM PELAYANAN PDAM KOTA SEMARANG

Abstract

Water is one of the crucial elements in the survival of human beings as living beings so that it becomes a public good that must be fulfilled by the state. Drinking water services in Semarang City are managed by PDAM Tirta Moedal Semarang City. PDAM Semarang City implemented the Si Agan Tirta Moedal Application innovation as an effort to improve their services. The purpose of this study was to analyze the innovation attributes of the Si Agan Tirta Moedal application in the Semarang City PDAM service. Using descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and literature studies. The results showed that the Si Agan Tirta Moedal application has an element of novelty because it is the first application-based innovation owned by PDAM Semarang City since 2021. This application is designed to provide convenience for the public to reach PDAM services flexibly, but it has not been fully maximized because there are still obstacles felt by the public and employees in the aspect of complexity and the possibility of trials. The inhibiting factors affecting the app's innovation are limited human and financial resources, as well as doubts from the public.
