Rata-rata pendapatan mencapai ±Rp 3.000.000/bulan. Strategi pengembangan yang direkomendasikan adalah strategi SO (Strength Opportunities) : penguatan kelompok usaha nelayan, pemasaran kolektif hasil tangkapan, pengembangan usaha olahan berbahan udang/ikan, penyediaan cold storage, serta peningkatan peran penyuluh perikanan. The fishing community in Sungsang Village plays an important role in capture fisheries, but faces challenges such as low education, limited technology, and marketing of catches. his study aims to examine the socio-economic conditions of coastal communities and formulate strategies for developing the potential of capture fisheries in Sungsang Village. The study was conducted through a survey in three main hamlets (Sungsang I, II, III) using interview, questionnaire, and observation methods. A SWOT analysis was used to formulate the development strategy. The results showed that the majority of fishermen were aged 31–50 years with an elementary–junior high school education level. The fleet and fishing gear used were still traditional (trammel net, longline, trap, gillnet). The average income reached around IDR 3,000,000/month.
